It took the Seahawks just four days to find a new vice president of football administration.
Seattle announced the hiring of John Idzik on Friday to fill the position vacated by Mike Reinfeldt, who was named general manager of the Tennessee Titans on Monday. Idzik accepted the Seahawks' offer on Thursday.
Idzik spent the past three seasons as senior director of football operations for the Arizona Cardinals, where his responsibilities included being the lead player contract negotiator, managing the team's salary cap and football operations budget, and evaluating players.
He will have very similar duties with the Seahawks.
