Seahawks vs. Bucs

The Seattle Seahawks are NFC West champions, and they'll be the #4 seed going into the playoffs. So there's really not much on the line for them Sunday when they travel to Tampa Bay for a game against the Bucs. So do you think they sit their starters and rest, or is there a pride factor involved in not wanting to finish 8-8?

Re: Seahawks vs. Bucs

Seattle was handed the so called "title". They dont deserve to be there. If they win by showing up to play ball, then maybe give respect where respect is due. Otherwise shut down for the winter.

Re: Seahawks vs. Bucs

Welcome to GoTeamsGo, thunderfoot, and thanks for joining us! Not sure I'd say they were handed the title -- the Niners gave them a run there for a little bit -- but I agree that Seattle certainly is the weakest of the 4 NFC Division Champions. They did have a bunch of injuries, though, including Hasselbeck and Alexander. Maybe they're better than we think, but I kind of doubt it.

I think they are lucky to be there at all, but with Alexander there is always a chance to advance. If he can have a game like last week, they may surprise somebody.
