Seahawks Playoff Tickets

Seahawks Playoff Tickets
Fans who have, in the past, been fortunate enough to have purchased Seahawks playoff tickets have seen more than their fair share of history made by their beloved Seattle football franchise. For starters, the Seahawks are one of just two National Football League franchises to have qualified for the postseason in both the American and National Football Conferences. The Seahawks started play in 1976 and reached the playoffs for the first time in 1983, finishing second in the AFC West with a 9-7 record and beating both the Broncos in the Wild Card round and the Dolphins in the Divisional Championship before losing to the Raiders in the AFC title game. Thanks to stars like Steve Largent, Dave Krieg, Jim Zorn and Curt Warner, Seattle would go on to make a total of five playoff appearances in the AFC before joining the National Football Conference's Western division prior to the 2002 season. Their first playoff appearance in the NFC came one year later, as the 10-6 Seahawks qualified as the conference's Wild Card team.

2005 - A Great Season for Seahawks Playoff Tickets
Of course, 2005 was one of the best season to have had Seahawks playoff tickets. Of course, that was the year when the team made its first ever Super Bowl appearance. That year, Seattle went an NFC-bet 13-3, winning 11 consecutive games at one point in the season. Thanks to QB Matt Hasselbeck and RB Shaun Alexander, among others, the team led the NFL in scoring with a 28.2 points per game average. They defeated the Washington Redskins, 20-10, and the Carolina Panthers, 34-14, to win the conference championship and make it to Super Bowl XL. Alas, the team would come up short, losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in a controversial 21-10 final score, but it definitel gave the team and their fans something to build on for the seasons to come. So remember that any time you have a chance to acquire seats to a postseason match-up at Qwest Field, you could be watching history in the making. After all, you never know when the Seahawks might make a return trip to the big game. And who knows, maybe next time the outcome will be different, right?
