Alexander, Hasselbeck may return Sunday

Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren said Monday that both of his injured stars may play Sunday at San Francisco, pending tests in practice this week.

If this is true, then I for see the all ready first place SEahawks going deep into the play offs. The football gods may smile on Seattle after all, ending the Maddem Curse, now if they could do something about the weather there.

Couldn't happen at a better time for Seattle. Wallace and Morris have been able to hold down the fort, the team's in first place and they have a game with 2nd place San Francisco this weekend. A win there and a healthy offensive backfield pretty much locks up the division for the 'Hawks, I would think.

I would put Alexander back in asap. I would hold off on Hasselbeck. Let him make sure he is 100%. Wallace is playing well enough to let them wait on Hasselbeck. Look at what Pittsburgh is going through this year. I think they brought Ben back too early from both injuries and he is playing awful. they could learn something here.
