I would say "Squeak by the Rams" not "Pile drive them"...when you win by a 54 yard FG as time runs out, and you are the former NFC champ...its a squeak...at best...

Thought it might inspire some Rams fans to comment on the game.

"pile driver" of a fieldgoal wasn't it?

Re: Hawks Pile Drive Rams

I have nothing against the Rams, infact they looked like the better team for most of the game.

Did you see the looks on the faces of the Rams coaching staff when they thought the game was over..... they were even saying "game over"

what a swing of emotion.....stadium got silent...... sorry Rams fans

I hear that they thought there was supposed to be a 10 second run off, due to an offensive penalty, with 4 seconds left. That's why they thought the game was over. Turns out that the 10 second run off is only when a penalty comes pre-snap, and the Seahawks infraction came after the snap. So no time runoff, Seattle lines up, kicks the field goal and wins the game.

That's sure gotta be a tough way to lose a game!

Re: Hawks Pile Drive Rams

Great second half turnaround by the Seahawks. They played like crap in the first half and came out of the locker room as a different team. They stuffed the run, got pressure on Bulger, got some turnovers, and were able to get a flow in their offense.

The Rams have been playing suprisingly good this year though. They put up a good fight but in the end the Seahawks proved they are still the kings of the NFC West. Until they are dethroned there isn't much argument to that.
