The Seattle bullpen blew a game today. Hernandez pitched 8 shutout innings for Seattle, and the bullpen gave up 3 in the 9th to lose the game. This would have been a lock if Putz was there to finish the game.

i agree. the mariners definately need their all star closer back into things. blowing games like this will come back to bite them in september when their fighting for a playoff spot. gotta be happy with the starting pitching though, bedard and hernandez are taking care of their part.
