Mariners, Silva agree to terms



The Mariners and Carlos Silva have agreed to terms, pending a physical, according to MLB.com.
An announcement is likely to come Thursday. Silva is expected to receive $44 million for four years.

A barely .500 pitcher gets $11 million dollars a year? I can't believe it every time it happens.

I keep telling my friends and family that I want my son to be the Reds starting SS. Maybe I should be hoping for a middle of the road relief pitcher?
