Raul Ibanez will lose at bats to rookie Adam Jones. After hitting 33 homers last year, Ibanez has only 6 dingers this year and his hitting .253

It's a mystery what happened to him and Richie Sexson. Anybody have any ideas?

I don't care what happened to him I had the chance to trade him in my keeper league before the season, but didn't want to give up his production for Hamels (I didn't think he was ready this year either). This is how he repays me for remaining loyal.

Seattle Mariners outfielder Raul Ibanez was named American League Player of the Week on Monday.

Ibanez batted .481 (13-for-27) with five home runs and 11 RBI. The 35-year-old posted a .533 on-base percentage and a 1.111 slugging percentage for the Mariners, who went 5-1 this past week to keep pace with the New York Yankees in the wild card race.

For the season, Ibanez is hitting .268 with 11 home runs and 73 RBI.
