The baloon may be bursting in Seattle. They're 2-8 in their last 10 games and only 1/2 a game ahead of the Yankees in the wild card race. Oh well - it was fun while it lasted.

Does anybody think they even have a shot to make the playoffs?

Just as I say that, they win 3 in a row. Now you see why I don't gamble anmymore.

I gotta give the M's credit. They refuse to go away. Only 1/2 a game behind the wild card and even in the loss column behind the Tigers. And only 2 1/2 behind the Angles for the West.

I don't know how they're doing it.
