The Mariners are 49-36, only 2 1/2 games behind the Angels for the division lead and only 1 1/2 games behind Cleveland for the Wild Card. Without a doubt, they are the biggest surprise in baseball.

I know the M's bullpen is really good, but 49-36??? How are they doing it, and can they keep it up and....get into the playoffs?

Surprise team of the first half, no doubt. I don't think they're amazing run will keep up, though, not without Hargrove.

You really think Hargrove made that much of a difference? I really only saw them play when they played the Yanks.
