| Mariners acquire P Jason Davis The Seattle Mariners have acquired pitch Jason Davis from the Cleveland Indians for a player to be named later.
According to the Associated Press, "Davis has appeared in eight games this season and has no record with a 4.76 ERA for the Indians. He has spent his entire career in the Indians organization and was 3-2 with a 3.74 ERA in 39 games last year... Davis has appeared in 114 major league games and made 52 starts, but Seattle manager Mike Hargrove said the plan at this time is to use Davis exclusively as a reliever. Davis is expected to join the Mariners during their series against the Angels beginning on Tuesday." Good pick up for the Mariners? |
