| Jarrod Washburn injury According to media reports, Mariners pitcher Jarrod Washburn will probably miss the rest of the season due to a torn right calf muscle. He will finish the season with an 8-14 record and a 4.67 ERA. What does this injury mean for the Mariners as well as for Washburn's future?

| Re: Jarrod Washburn injury The Mariners are out of the Playoffs so it doesn't impact their record that much. As for Washburn's future, it doesn't look to bright. He was good on the Angels but I don't think he will ever be as good with the Mariners. |
