Ken Davidoff of Newsday seems to think there's a real chance that Lous Piniella will have a 2nd run as Seattle manager. This would sure surprise me.

I remember the days he coached the Mariners. It wasn't that long ago, either. He must have left Seattle around 2002. They were incredible in 2001, with the rising Japanese prospect later to be known as Ichiro.
