Everyone was already talking about this like it was a done deal - leafs were already considering him.
It's wild really, that he is fired after such an amazing season - but sometimes if you have the potential but don't reach it - ie Martin for the Sens - you are no good.

Yeah, I guess I get the logic behind it if they felt they had a team that should've gone further.
That said, I will never understand the logic behind firing playoff coaches, in any sport. It almost never works out for the better.

On thing I read was, he couldn't get out of Thornton the kind of play they thought he should have. he's given this superstar who fails to produce and it's Wilson's fault.
