-this was the Sharks’ 17th victory in 19 games and just barely keeps them in the race for the top spot behind Detroit, which has a five-point lead with three games left for both clubs.
-Nabokov had his NHL-leading 45th victory. He has four more wins than 2nd place Brodeur which has four games left.
