"The San Jose Sharks unveiled their new look today, including a re-design of their primary crest, joined by eight supporting marks.

Terry Smith, who designed the new logo and original one, created the new marks over an 18-month period in conjunction with Sharks players and front office.

“We put a lot of research into this and feel the fans will thoroughly appreciate the updated logo and new marks,” said Sharks President and CEO Greg Jamison in a release. “The players were heavily involved in the process and they are extremely happy with the outcome.”

The Sharks new sweater will be unveiled in September."



im not to pleased about this logo, the shakrs logo was one of my favourite logos and neither the logo nor the sweater required changing.....but i guess its OK

gee, he looks so scary ....the need these days for the logo to be Man Eating Hungry Crazy Killer Sabre Toothed type, you know? The best logos are a leaf, a wheel and an H in a C.

Apex Predators Rule!...though I saw in the news a Giant Squid invasion in Cali waters...maybe some one will come up with a Killer Giant Squid Logo...that would be cool...
