Was the loss his Rfault? I didn't see any of the series so I don't know. Change for the sake of change is silly. If they think they can do beter than Ron Wilson, than make the move. If not, it doesn't make sense.

Sometimes, the other team is just better.

No, he won't be fired. news is he's been asked to stay by GM Wilson. Same with his assistants Tim Hunter and Rob Zettler - they've decided they didn't do such a bad job after all.

We're looking forward to the challenge ahead of us. In some ways, it's similar to the challenge Ottawa faced last year, and hopefully we can respond to it in the same way they did."
But Doug Wilson wants to see more discipline and a businesslike attitude from the Sharks, particularly on the practice rink, saying the Sharks were "not being accountable enough" late in the season.



Ron Wilson (confusing, eh? all the Wilsons involved) has publicly challenged captain Marleau, who he says played sub par in the post season. Still, Marleau is hugely popular in SJ.
Doug Wilson has said he plans on trading either Nabokov or Toskala. I guess it's a money issue but i always thought the Sharks had it made in net, with two decent goalies.

Easier to replace a coach than revamp a team...maybe Doug Wilson is feeling pressure himself...poop flows down hill and next in line is the coaching staff...then the captain...then...well eventually you get to the ice cleaning girls...maybe that is it...they need new ice cleaning girls...and call it a fix...that darn ice! Cost them the Cup. Better girls, better ice...better season right?...
