look at the shots: 34 for Detroit, and 19 for san jose - yet look at the score.
Apparently last night brodeur wasn't the only goalie who proved himself to be mortal - hasek, too.
I'm the first person in line to enjoy a goalie's game - I hate the high scoring games where goalies just look like they happened across the net every now and then. I thought OTT-NJ would be the same, but it wasn't - last night belonged to nabokov. Grier and Carle did it all in the first period and then it was already over.

this was a great game. glad to see the sharks with the shut-out. and hopefully they see to it that Detroit goes home for good

I would count on it, I don't think you saw what either team is capable of doing yet. There is alot of hockey to come. I'm a Wings fan, but I like Thronton a geat deal. Good luck to you guys
