| Bonds hits 725th home run That's right, everyone's favorite Bay Area slugger went deep last night, hitting his 725th career home run and moving within 30 of Hank Aaron's all time record. Bonds currently has 17 home runs this season; at this pace, and assuming that his skills didn't diminish too much more, the 42 year old Bonds would likely need to play two more years to get pass Aaron. Never happen, right?

| Re: Bonds hits 725th home run Barry Bonds should break Henry Aaron's record earlier in his career, if he plays more often. All the time I hear that he is sitting out the game or is suffering some kind of injury or something. Play baseball is the one thing he is paid to do. As they say at the Nike Headquarters, Just Do It! |
