Do you think Barry Bonds will be a major help in this investigation, as long as he trusts George Mitchell?

Bonds could help if it helps his own cause out. Right now, I would be feeling out the offers...I think Bond is into self persevation.

Could a guy damn himself any more than that, saying that he'll cooperate but only if what he says isn't turned over to the feds? Obviously, that means he has something to hide, right?

I thought the story was a little revealing too, but hopefully it wasn't meant to. Of course, this news release could be used against him into the courtroom. But, anything he says or does can be used too!

Personally, I don't think he would be a major help in this steroid's investigation. I think he is just joining up with this detective so that he can cover up his suspected use of performance-enhancing drugs. However, this suspicion will stay with him 'till his grave unless he somehow proves everyone wrong.
