| Re: Top Three Franchise Players- Giants Thank you. Finally someone who agrees with me. I think I hit the nail on this one. However it shouldn't take to long for Lefty Noob to ruin this one for me |

| Re: Top Three Franchise Players- Giants And right on cue, here I am! 1. Mays, no doubt about it. 2. Willie McCovey - 6x All-Star selection (1963, 1966, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971) ; 1969 NL MVP ; 1959 NL Rookie of the Year ; 1969 MLB All-Star Game MVP ; 1977 NL Comeback Player of the Year ; 1977 Hutch Award ; Baseball Hall of Famer (1986). 3. Carl Hubbell - 9x All-Star selection (1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937, 1938, 1940, 1941, 1942) ; World Series champion (1933) ; 2x NL MVP (1933, 1936) ; once won won 24 consecutive games between 1936 and 1937 ; Baseball Hall of Famer (1983). Honorable mentions to Juan Marichal, Kent, and yes, Bonds, even though I think a larger percentage of his accomplishments are tainted.

| Re: Top Three Franchise Players- Giants With or without steroids he had to have some talent right? I mean just because you give yourself steroids it doesn't just magically swing the bat for you, or catch the ball. He still had to make contact with the ball. However he clearly may not have hit as many homeruns, there must be some talent involved in all that. |

| Re: Top Three Franchise Players- Giants Are we talking the Giants franchise from its NY days? If so then Mel Ott ans Christy Mathewson are defintely there. Bonds is out and Mays is in as the third. If just from SF days then its Mays, Bonds, and Juan Marichal! |
