It was great to see Aaron acknowledge Bonds as the new HR king. A total show of respect to Bonds for the player that he is.

Like or hate the man, he has accomplished an amazing feat in MLB history.

Absolutely, I personally dont care for bonds because 0f obvious reasons but gotta give respect where its due, hes in the books, with or without an asterisk time will tell..

What was hilarious was the fact a Mets fan came up with the 756 home run ball.

He was being escorted by SFPD like he was the President, lol.

Wonder how much the team or MLB will give the guy to get that ball to the HOF.

I would like to thank Barry for breaking this record on the west coast half the country can see you and did not have to watch you. The record means nothing any more it is just a number until A-Rod or Griffey breaks but until then it is a just a number

It sounded less than a show of respect than a sigh of relief from Hank, to have it over with.

Leave it to Bonds to leave the game, after. Because with Bonds it's always about him, not about the team and his teammates. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Aaron didn't come out of the game when he broke his record, nor did he raise his arms in victory after he hit the ball.

Bonds can learn some humility from Hank.

I couldnt belive he left the game either, just cause you broke the record doesnt mean the games over....i guess he forgot that he was being paid to win ball games, not break records.
