Will the giants be buyers or sellers at the trading deadline this year? I dont think there is any doubt they will be trying to unload some of their players this hot stove season..

33-45, last in the NL West. I'd think they have to be sellers.

They're defininte sellers. I think it's safe to say that this off-season will be a key one for the franchise's future as it's likely they will bide goodbye to Bonds. They should look to trading some of their vets at the deadline and aim to get younger.

I'm kind of wondering if they'll try to unload Zito to a pitching-desperate team, maybe the Yankees?

they need to unload some money and get younger...i can still look back to the offseason when vladdy was a free agent if we were gonna spend 100 million on a pitcher then we should have def. signed him...i think the franchise would totally be different know if he were in a giants uni.

Would anybody even touch him tight now. He is struggling terribly in the supposed weaker hitting NL.

I really think the yankees would do anything possible to help their team...but as of now it seems like everything is coming together for them. So i think the giants are stuck with Zito and his contract.
