| Bonds might not donate prized items to Hall of Fame NEW YORK -- As Barry Bonds nears his record 756th home run, he's stockpiling quite a collection of souvenirs -- bats, balls, helmets and spikes, pieces of baseball history perfectly suited for the Hall of Fame. Whether he'll donate any of them to Cooperstown, however, is in doubt. "I'm not worried about the Hall," the San Francisco slugger said during a recent homer drought. "I take care of me." ESPN.com: Bonds may not give mementos to Hall

| Re: Bonds might not donate prized items to Hall of Fame actually if i were a pitcher i would have beaned him long ago because i think he is a cheater and i wouldnt give him the chance to hit one off me as for the Hall of Fame ...... i dont think it is such a big deal, if baseball wants to feel like it is their right to have something then they need to stick a line in the next CBA ......... im mostly ticked by what i see as Bonds arrogance in the statement ............ he takes care of himself, like he needs to hold onto them incase he needs to pawn them for food or something from what i saw all the Hall is asking for is a hat or jersey or glove or bat or ball ....... just basically anything really to put on display ........ he cant seem to manage to give up even one of those items ? ......... yeah i think that makes him an ass |

As for Bonds arrogant statement?...What do you want from him...humility?...why?...so people can say he is "groveling for approval?"...hell no!...he is who he is...if he doesn't want to share is crap what's the big deal?...its not like he is being loved right now...and is he any more arrogant than say Clemens or Favre or anyone else?... |

after over a year of us tossing crap back and forth there is no way im leaving now yeah i really would like to bean Bonds ... between his cheating and arrogance i would .... like i said i wouldnt allow him to hit one off me ..... if that makes me wrong so be it as for the Hall ....... yes i think he owes them something, i really do and i dont care how some fans treat him ........ after all this game and it's fans have given him in money and adoration yes i think he should give his bat or the ball to be on display for everyone to see for decades |

The funny thing is, you know he cares...you know he wants the Hall to come calling for those item he has...he wants the fame...he really does...he is just a jerk about how he goes about it... ...and perhaps a bean is a bit better than the intentional walks he keeps drawing...maybe he could break Biggio's record... |

| Re: Bonds might not donate prized items to Hall of Fame Instead of beaning, I would tell every pitcher to walk him at every bat, bonds is a punk, Im calling it now, when he does hit his record home run you will see more crap thrown on the field than anyone has seen before unless he hits it in san fansissyco.. |

Sad truth but we can't single out Bonds because of his selfish attitude. |

look im sorry but i make no excuses here ..... some players i hate more then others and it isnt a race issue (yes i know you know that Empire, but for those that dont) ....... if Schilling was found to be a steroid user i would never cheer for him again and i would want him off the Red Sox |
