| Re: Nolan impressed with Michael Robinson There wasn't much to cheer about for the San Francisco 49ers in their second preseason game, but one player that really stood out was Michael Robinson, the ex-Penn State quarterback. Playing tailback, Robinson scored the team's only TD and caught the eye of coach Mike Nolan with his physical running style.
"Michael has done well since the time he got here, throughout the minicamps, the OTAs (organized team activities) and all the way through training camp," Nolan told Yahoo! Sports. "I think he brings a level of competitiveness to the team. I think in time he will become a leader on our football team."
With Barlow gone, does Robinson have a shot to win the starting RB job? |
