Jerry has now ofically retired from football. Last year he would have played if a team would have offered him a contract. Shoot, he wanted to do this last year, but York wouldn't let him. Jerry wanted to retire as a member of the team that he was a member of for so long. Roger Craig did it, why not Jerry? Yes, since Jerry signed a contract this year, it will move back his eligibility for the Hall of Fame by a year. But, I have also heard rumors that a bunch of people want to waive the waiting period for him. Guarenteed he is a first time entry, probably unaminously.
