49'ers @ Rams

The post-pantsless Mike Singletary 49ers continue to show improvement, going a respectable 3-3 since the eye-popping debut of their eye-popping interim head coach. The worst appears over for a franchise that has been lost in the Bay since Steve Mariucci got dumped years ago. COOL STAT: San Francisco's improving defense has allowed just 31 points combined over its past three games. THIS WEEK: at Rams (2-12)

49'ers will look like Superbowl material when this game is done.
