Transition is the name of the game at San Francisco 49ers training camp. There's a new offensive coordinator in Norv Turner, four new pass receivers - TE Vernon Davis and WRs Antonio Bryant, Bryan Gilmore and Brandon Williams. Larry Allen has been added to an offensive line that desperately needs to improve, and the running back position is just a mess. On defense, the Niners had the NFL's worst pass defense last season and have to replace Julian Peterson, Andre Carter and Ahmed Plummer.

To put it bluntly, for Turner and Mike Nolan to do anything with this bunch would be damn amazing.
