Furthermore, as author Eric Krupka writes, "Dilfer is a crafty veteran that still has a lot left in the tank. And more than that, he has an incredible amount of knowledge and experience... Smith would be prudent to draw upon Dilfer's vast amount of knowledge of the game."
This reminds me of the discussions we had about Vinnie possibly going to the Browns. Granted, Dilfer is more game ready, but... how important is it for a team with a young starting QB to have a veteran onboard to coach him up?
