Re: San Francisco wide receivers worst in NFL

The San Francisco 49ers have the worst group of wide receivers in the National Football League -- or at least, so say ESPN's Sean Salisbury, Mark Schlereth and Mike Golic. Antonio Bryant and Vernon Davis are good, Davis better than Bryant, but Arnaz Battle as the #2 receiver seems to concern a lot of people. No depth at the WR position. What do you think?

I think we have talked this topic to death...and we have concluded that Mr. Alex Smith is going to dump a lot to the TE's he's got.

Perhaps, but I still can't help but wonder: given the state of the San Francisco 49ers' receiving corps, why haven't these guys pulled the trigger on an Ashlie Lelie deal yet?
