| 49ers vs. Patriots The 49ers host the Patriots Sunday, Oct 5 at 3:15 pm ET The Patriots come off a bye week and last year this would have been a scary game for the 49ers. Pats offense is wobbly, but the defense is near the top of the league. Still, they will face Frank Gore, a tough bruising back. And the 49ers secondary will get their chance to meet Randy Moss. So who comes out on top here, 49ers or the Pats?
