... Others, well others get overlooked because they deserve to be. Neither should be the case for the San Francisco 49ers this season. ...

Re: 49ers fantasy football

The top five San Francisco 49ers fantasy football prospects, according to this article, are: 1. Joe Nedney, K; 2. Antonio Bryant, WR; 3. Vernon Davis, TE; 4. Frank Gore, RB; 5. Alex Smith, QB. Nedney and Davis, and maybe Bryant, I'd take a flier on in the draft, but not Gore (whose not even guaranteed to be the #1 back) or Smith (who still has a looooong way to go to be a big-time QB, fantasy or otherwise). How about you?

The Tight Ends might pay off ...the rest...well...why bother?...Though I would snag Gore late in the draft...you got to gamble on backs who may be featured backs late in the draft...

Cool Re: 49ers fantasy football

I agree with Gotham. Gore is the only one I would take and late at that.

Not Nedney? I can see the Niners having to kick a LOT of field goals and, well, you need someone at that position, right?

I am not sold on the grass and winds of San Fran as the place for good field goal kicking...I like Dome kickers...
