Could the San Francisco 49ers be after disgruntled Denver WR Ashley Lelie? That's the rumor. Apparently, the club isn't thrilled with penciled-in starter Arnaz Battle and could be looking to swing a deal with the Broncos. Lelie a good fit for San Fran? The Niners a good fit for Lelie?

Yeah...good fit...A guy screaming to be a number 1 on a team that doesn't have one...and yeah, big up grade over Battle...I like Lelie (despite his mouth)...liked him coming out of Hawaii...the move might do him a world of good...

I agree, Goth. If he can get on a team like the Niners, he could wind up being happy and productive. And hey, San Fran's had a lot of success with head cases at the wideout position in the past. Lelie'd be a smart pickup for Nolan and company.
