I always thought ex-San Francisco 49er wide receiver John Taylor was vastly overrated, and after his retirement, he seemed to drop off the face of the Earth. So what's he been up to? According to this story, he's now a trucker, if you can believe it. Strange path to take, going from a 3-time Super Bowl champion to a guy running big rigs across the country.

Odd story...but hey Icky Woods was selling side of beef from his car for a while...and William Perry works construction...so much for retirement plans....geez...and to think they all went to college...they should have taken an economics course...

Most players' retirement plans go under the category "Spend More Time With Family" even though they are divorced and single.

It is like they want to pursue a career in gardening when they never planted a thing in their life.

It is funny to hear some of these crazy retirement plans which never turn out to be true.

Goodness, what the heck happened? JT is driving big rigs? Well, it happens to the best of them. I even think Karl Malone is driving trucks also, at least he was during off-seasons.

John Taylor owns a fleet of trucks. He is also involved in other business ventures. His degree in Business helps him to manage his own money. Despite what others want to think, he is doing very well.
