Re: Rumph or Harris: Who starts at LCB?

Well, I can't say I've been following the cornerback battle in San Francisco between Mike Rumph and Walt Harris too much. Apparently, Niners coach Mike Nolan named Harris the starter over the younger, more gifted Rumph. According to this story, though, that was the wrong move because Harris, says the author, "has lost more than a step in recent years" and "was exposed badly last season in man coverage." So why not give the kid a chance to show what he can do?

I liked Rumph the first time i saw him play. I think he should win the spot, not have it handed to him!
