Alex has not showed that he can get timeing down with he's reciver's never hitting them in stride,he will never make it as a pocket passer,plus he has 9 mill option bonus thats besides he's based salary,Hill did look good while he was in there with all the same personal as smith had,I do understand if hill gets hurt we have no one else,but alex has proved he'll never take a game on his back and win it himself.need a leader at Q.B."just my 2 cents"

Wasn't Smith playing through an injury? I think he can still do well...look at Eli and the abuse he took before hitting his stride late this year.Sometimes it takes time to develop a good QB.

true,but eli has always shown that he can throw a good ball and stand in the pocket and lets not forget about that d,smith has never shown that,first year could not hold onto the ball"small hands"his best year was when the defense's had to throw 8 or 9 men in the box to stop gore and went 16td.16int,this year when he was heathy he still did not stand out,the first 2 games won was not because of him and he's still not had a game where u just step back and say wow this kid can play,again "just my 2cents"and has never posted a rating over 100 r 300 yards in any game,there was one game down in seattle were i seen a spurt but just don't think he's the guy,maybe i'm wrong it would not be the first time but i'll admit when i am.let me ask u 2 ?,do u think he was worthy of a number one pick?and should he be strating based on his play?thanks for answering
