Re: 49ers acquire CB Sammy Davis

Davis, according to this report, started 30 games for the Chargers and had 122 tackles, three interceptions and one sack during his days in San Diego. To get him, San Fran parted ways with WR Rashaun Woods, who found himself buried on the depth chart with the offseason signings of Antonio Bryant and Bryan Gilmore. Good deal?

Re: 49ers acquire CB Sammy Davis

Very good deal. Woods wasn't producng anything like a first round pick and had himself in Nolan's doghouse. Whether Davis pans out we will see but it's better than just letting him go. Davis helps address a depth issue at CB.
