Now, I'm not sure I share the author's enthusiasm about this team's chances. Granted it is a weak schedule, but the Niners still look like a weak team. They might be able to pull out a halfway decent year based on this schedule, but I wouldn't expect any miracle turnaround. They may play several of the NFL's worst teams from a year ago, but let us not forget that they also ARE one of the NFL's worst teams from a year ago!
