 49ers To Hold National Anthem Auditions (CBS 5) SAN FRANCISCO The San Francisco 49ers are once again hosting open auditions for the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at home games during the 2007 season. Out of the hundreds of applicants received by the June 22 deadline, the top 30 finalists will be notified by July 1 regarding a designated live audition time at Pier 39 on July 14.
