Niners Sign Rayburn
The San Francisco 49ers signed free agent defensive tackle Sam Rayburn on Monday. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Rayburn spent all four of his NFL seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles after joining the team as a rookie free agent out of Tulsa in 2003. He was waived by the Eagles on May 11 of this year.
In 53 career games, including four starts, he has totaled 65 tackles and nine sacks.
