According to the Associated Press, "The Seattle Seahawks traded Darrell Jackson, their leading wide receiver, to San Francisco on Sunday for a fourth-round draft choice, No. 124 overall... Jackson was leading the NFL in touchdown receptions late last season before he sustained a turf toe injury and missed three games. He became expendable when Seattle acquired Deion Branch from New England last September, then signed the former Super Bowl MVP to a $39 million contract."

Great pick up by the 49ers, if you ask me. Gives them a sure-fire #1 receiving threat.

Jackson for a 4th rounder??? Salary cap troubles for the Seahawks perhaps? Jackson is a great talent for Smith to toss to and should aid his progression beautifully. Great move again by the Niners!

It has to be cap problems for the Seahawks, who when they signed Branch, had too much money invested in WR's. Great deal for the 49ers...
