SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO — A May trial date was set Monday for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Antonio Bryant, accused of reckless driving and resisting arrest stemming from a November encounter with San Mateo police.
Bryant, 25, was pulled over on Highway 101 on Nov. 19 after San Mateo police spotted an orange Lamborghini with no license plate traveling over 120 mph, the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office reported.
According to prosecutors, Bryant refused a field sobriety test and a chemical test for blood-alcohol content, and also refused to submit to arrest.
