Week One: San Francisco @ Arizona

about the best thing the Cards may have to look forward to this season is their new stadium

the 49ers dont even have that to look forward to

Arizona should be improved, but not enough to make the play-offs even in the weak NFC

San Fran hasnt really improved at all, and should again be in the fight for the top pick in the draft

Edge and Leinart were great pick-ups for the Cards and they could make an instant impact

Arizona 21 San Francisco 6

Leinart has to learn the system first, plus, what rookie QB other than Marino, has made an impact that significant in their rookie season? Montana didn't start games until his third year.
Smith is a year older, a year with some experience in the system. The Niners might lose the game, but it will be closer than you think

Cards 17, Niners 14
