Pads vs. Brewers

The Pads lost the first game of their series with the Brewers today. YIPPEE!!! Hensley got killed on the mound last night giving up four runs in less than four innings. Capuano of the Brews pitched six giving up only two runs and Wise came in to shut the door.

Today its the Padre ace Peavy v. Bush. Bush is 3-5 in his twelve starts with a high 4.95 era. Peavy has a 4.15 era and is coming off of a five inning win against the Cards. Well the with Pujols Cards anyway.

Re: Pads vs. Brewers

The Pads have lost two in a row to the Brewers. Last night the score was 5-1. Peavy took the loss by giving up five earned runs in less than four innings. Sweeney, Embree, and Adkins combined for five innings and four runs. Bush for the Brews pitched a complete game giving up only one run, three hits, and two walks, while fanning six.

Today its my least favorite pitcher on my least favorite team, Chan Ho Park. He is up against Jackson who is a rookie I guess because he has no stats. He did pitch one inning in the Pads game vs. the Nationals, but this is his first start.

Re: Pads vs. Brewers

The two game losing streak is over. The Pads beat the Brews 6-5 last night. Park pitched six giving up four runs. Hoffman got his thirteenth save thanks to a two run Padre eighth.

In the final game of the series, Thompson takes on Davis. Davis has a 5.23 era in thirteen starts. I really couldn't care less about this series but would definitely like to see the Padres lose.

Pads lost another to the Brews by a score of 4-3. This brings the Pads record to 31-29. They are three games out of first place behind the Diamondbacks. Thompson for the Pads lasted five innings giving up only two runs. Hoffman blew the save and Cassidy gave up another run. Davis for the Brews went seven giving up only three runs although he did give up ten hits.
