Greene was the teams's MVP in 2007. Probably a good idea keeping him around, eh? Think they'll be able to work out a longer-term deal?

Well, according to Wikipedia, he couldn't hit worth a lick and has been converted to a pitcher. Was throwing 95 on his fastball, then tore an elbow ligament and is out until 2009.
