Trevor Hoffman Elbow Surgery

The Padres announced Friday, Trevor Hoffman had arthroscopic surgery to remove bone chips from his right elbow the day before. It's believed the surgery was a success and Hoffman should recover on schedule.

Hoffman must be having a long off-season after blowing the save in game 163 to the Rockies. Of course, he is one of the 'greatest' closers so it should already be out of mind by now.

Did they do anything to remove whatever was blocking his esophagus and causing him to CHOKE?
