The San Diego Padres lead the Milwaukee Brewers, 3-2 in the 8th inning in Milwaukee. With a win today, the Padres will clinch a birth into the post-season. Barring the Diamondbacks game later today....the Padres could still win the NL West division.

If the Padres pull off the win, they'll have 90-wins. A guaranteed playoff birth.

So San Diego will play an important game tomorrow versus the Brewers.

It's possible we could have three teams tied after tomorrow (Mets, Phillies, Padres) with two playoff spots to spare.

Padres are losing 10-4 in the 8th to Milwaukee. If Colorado pulls out a win versus Arizona today, there would be a playoff tomorrow for the NL Wild Card.

That game would likely be pitched by Jake Peavy who was pulled from his proposed start today.
