Brian Giles injured
According to Yahoo! Sports ticker reports, "San Diego Padres right fielder Brian Giles left Wednesday's 9-5, 11-inning victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks in the fifth inning with a sprained right ankle... Giles suffered the injury after crashing into the wall while making a leaping catch in the fifth. He stayed in the game but left after walking in the bottom of the frame." He's been temporarily replaced in the lineup by newly acquired Rob Mackowiak.
