| Young shines again Last night against the Phillies, Chris Young of the San Diego Padres once again showed why he may be the best pitcher in the National League this season. Young threw seven shutout innings, striking out six and lowering his MLB-best ERA to 1.85. He's only given up three or more earned runs in four of his 19 starts, according to the AP, and he's 4-1 with a 0.73 ERA at Petco Park in 2007. Simply amazing.
