According to the Associated Press, "1B Adrian Gonzalez, mired in a 4-for-47 slump since June 23, got the night off and was replaced by Geoff Blum. Gonzalez will more than likely be back in the lineup for Saturday afternoon's game. Gonzalez's average has dropped from .294 to .265." Tough stretch for the kid, no doubt. How long till he breaks out of his slump?

Wouldn't have taken Gonzo for a streak hitter?...Wonder what it's doing to his confidence?...is he not hitting or are the hits jsut not falling for him...big difference.

I have him on one of my fantasy keeper leagues, so I have been paying close attention to him. He is just not touching the ball. He is striking out a lot. I don't really consider him a streak hitter, but he could have just been on a really long hot streak.
